Planting Strawberries
1)buy a flower pot with two layers of holes and on each layer are three holes
2)buy soil and fill the soil to right below the first layer
3) take a strawberry plant and place it in a hole( on the first layer )diagonally and fill the hole (with the plant in it ) with soil so there are no holes
4) keep doing the same on the two others
5) now you are done with the first layer fill the pot with soil until it is right below the second layer
6) place the strawberry plant in diagonally and fill it up with soil until there are no holes do the same with the others
7) put a little bit of water in each hole and tip it back now put it in the sun to grow!

Hi Avery - Thanks for your tip about placing dog hair around plants to prevent deer from eating them. We had a full bag of dog hair from NuNu and Maggie, but I believe it was recently thrown out. However, I will immediately begin to collect their shed hair again, and I'll make sure that the hair goes around needy plants, and not in the garbage!!!
ReplyDeleteI hope your tomatoes, strawberries and herbs are thriving. Do let me know when your first strawberry is ripe, We have a few berries that are beginning to color.
Love,
Muz
