Paula Deen's Oreo Truffles

Easiest Oreo Truffles
I love these truffles and think they are a perfect as a snack or to bring to a party. Basically with this recipe all you need are oreos, cream cheese, and dipping chocolate that can be found in little containers at the grocery store. I really suggest trying this delicious treat and hope you enjoy them!

Ingredients:
  • Food Processor
  • Plastic Wrap
  • Wax Paper
  • 18 oz. package of oreos
  • 8 oz. cream cheese at room temperature
  • 1 lb dipping chocolate (any type of chocolate you like) it should like something like this so you can just microwave the chocolate and place the balls in it

Steps:
1. Grind the Oreo cookies in a food processor. Add cream cheese and blend until it forms a ball. Take the dough from the food processor and wrap in plastic wrap. Then refrigerate for one hour. You may do more than an hour but no less because the dough must be cold so it will not fall apart when you dip it in chocolate. If you leave the dough in the fridge overnight, take it out about an hour before dipping in the chocolate so it has time to thaw.

2. Pinch off enough of the dough to roll into balls about the size of a walnut. When the balls are smaller it makes it easier to dip them in the chocolate so they don't fall apart.

3. Now stick a toothpick in the ball and place it in the chocolate. Then, lay the chocolate covered dough on a sheet of waxed paper.

4. Put the chocolate covered balls in the fridge so they can harden.

5. ENJOY!!!
